Sound from above and beyond
The inclusion of True Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X means the HW-S800B and HW-S801B have upward- and side-firing speakers that use your walls and ceiling to help create a stunning 3D-like sound environment, even without rear speakers, while the included subwoofer is designed to provide that cinematic thump of bass, no matter where you position it in the room.
Up-firing speakers help deliver enveloping Dolby Atmos and DTS effects. Beyond the speakers themselves, both soundbars offer Wi-Fi for smart connectivity and wireless connection with a compatible Samsung TV (or you can use the HDMI-ARC connection). There’s also Easy Pairing with the SmartThings app, so you can simply tap a compatible Samsung mobile device on the soundbar to pair.
