By all reports, the iPhone 16 isn’t far away now. In a fresh leak, we now have a strong idea of this year’s iPhone 16 Pro colours, and Apple fans have made their thoughts known.
Prominent tech leaker Sonny Dickson recently posted on social media platform X about the four colours likely coming to the iPhone 16 Pro range in September. Sporting the titanium chassis introduced with last year’s iPhone 15 pro range, the 2024 range appears to include white, black, grey, and brown finishes.
Based on the reaction in the popular Apple subreddit, fans are none too pleased. Comments range from wishing for more vibrant colours, to rather pointed criticisms of the rumoured brown iPhone 16 Pro.
Keep in mind that Apple has yet to confirm anything official regarding the iPhone 16 devices. That’ll come in September, when the giant tech brand traditionally unveils its annual phone upgrades. However, leaked units this close to launch tend to be pretty much on the money.
Meanwhile, the base iPhone 16 models are tipped to have a bit more cosmetic personality. Among the standard black and white finishes, the phone is tipped to get various bright blue and pink colours. By comparison, the new Google Pixel 9 range features a range of bold designs, even the Pro models.
A common theme from industry reporters is to expect subtle changes from Apple’s 2024 phone launch. This includes slightly larger displays for the Pro handsets, and potentially a new button dedicated to camera shutter controls. Software will make the biggest difference, with iOS 18 including Apple Intelligence, the company’s much anticipated generative AI technology.
