LG and will.i.am’s audio collaboration has reached Australia, with three Xboom party and portable speakers headed our way.
First revealed at CES 2025, LG enlisted Black Eyed Peas member and solo artist will.i.am as the speakers’ “Experiential Architect”, which is a fancy way of saying he consulted on the devices’ development. Included among the three speakers coming to Australia are the larger Xboom Stage 301 party speaker, the mid-sized Xboom Bounce, and the smaller Xboom Grab.
Built with a 6.5-inch woofer and 2.5-inch midrange speakers, the $449 Xboom Stage 301 is the party speaker designed to pump it. “It” being loud music, of course. LG rates the Stage 301 as having a 12-hour battery life, plenty long enough for when you gotta feeling it’s gonna be a good night.

Then there’s the $299 Xboom Bounce, a mid-sized wireless speaker with up to 30 hours of runtime. It also has an IP67 rating, making it suited to poolside listening and if someone boom boom pows too hard, knocking the speaker into the water.
And if anyone asks, “Where is the love?” Auracast support for the Stage 301 and Bounce lets you share audio with other compatible Bluetooth devices. So, you could make a big multi-speaker setup that’ll have the neighbours mouthing “Shut Up” while trying to get to sleep.

Finally, LG also released the $229 Xboom Grab, the smallest speaker of the lot. It looks easy to carry with one hand, leaving you free to rock that body. LG’s smaller speaker has an advertised battery life of 20 hours.
All three speakers include access to will.i.am’s pet project “RAiDiO.FYI”, an AI-based radio station that’s meant to replicate the conversational nature of radio. Is it something people want? Who knows!
LG’s latest Xboom speakers are out now via the brand’s website.
