Fetch TV has confirmed that it will continue providing access to ESPN content, announcing a “multi-year agreement” to renew its sports offering.
It’s good news for Australian sports fans keen for options to access international sports. Fetch’s agreement includes access to both ESPN and ESPN 2 channels, airing live sports including NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB. Fingers crossed the Philadelphia Eagles can go back-to-back in the upcoming NFL season.
Both ESPN channels also show a mix of overseas and local studio content. On top of that, it’s also the home for sports documentaries, including the popular 30 for 30 series.
Fetch’s renewal also means Disney has stayed true to its word. When ESPN launched on Disney+ in March, Disney communicated that the sports streaming service would remain available on other platforms in Australia, including Kayo Sports.

Fetch TV is also one of the cheapest ways to access ESPN content in Australia, when paired with one of its streaming boxes, like the Fetch Mini G5. ESPN is included in Fetch’s ‘Vibe Pack’, alongside a suite of MTV channels, for $7.99 per month. For comparison, the cheapest Disney+ plan is $15.99 per month, while Kayo’s cheapest plan sits at $30.
Granted, Disney+ and Kayo include plenty of other content, too, but if you just want access to major American sports, Fetch is an affordable option.
