It’s that time of year again! There’s an avalanche of Black Friday tech deals already live in Australia, spanning phones, TVs, home appliances, gaming — you name it, it’s likely on sale, or about to go on sale.
Even with its American roots, Aussies love the Black Friday sales. So much so, that we’re expected to spend $6.8 billion — even more than last year — over the Black Friday weekend. With many of the best phones and best TVs expected to go on sale, it’s little wonder why folks are in the mood for shopping.
As always, make sure to keep your head on a swivel when browsing the sales. More Australians have been stung by shopping scams in 2025 than last year. Plus, the ACCC warned retailers about dodgy sales practices, so stay vigilant for anything that looks too good to be true.
From what we’ve seen so far, here are the best Black Friday tech deals in Australia. There will be plenty more where they came from, so keep this page bookmarked for updates during the 2025 sale.

What is Black Friday?
Synonymous with deals and discounts aplenty, Black Friday is an annual retail event that sees shops and brands alike discount their respective wares. Like many things, it began in the US before finding its way to Australian shores. Now, you can shop Black Friday sales in-store and online, letting you spend however you see fit.
Black Friday owes its growing popularity to the sheer number of discounts available on a range of products. For those of us into technology and gadgets, it’s a haven of tech deals across many of the biggest brands.
When is Black Friday 2025 in Australia?
This year, Black Friday starts on 28 November 2025. Typically, the sales officially run for three days, culminating in ‘Cyber Monday’, which lands on 1 December 2025.
An easy way to check when Black Friday takes place in any given year is to check when North Americans celebrate Thanksgiving, which is the fourth Thursday in November. The day after is Black Friday, with all the shopping frenzy that accompanies it.
But with how big the sales event has grown internationally, most retailers and brands put the discount stickers up well before the official start date. If anything, Black Friday might as well be called ‘Black November’ at this stage.
Check back regularly as we update this page with more Black Friday technology deals as the sales ramp up.
