These days, it’s not enough for a fridge to keep your food and drinks cool; they need to look cool too. Based on appearances, the new Hisense PureFlex fridges look the part.
Hisense recently launched three new PureFlex French Door models in Australia, each carrying a 4.5-star energy efficiency rating. At the top of the range is a 640L fridge equipped with a water dispenser on the door. There’s also a cheaper 647L model, squeezing a bit of extra space in the absence of a water dispenser.
Each fridge has adjustable shelves in addition to various temperature control settings. For example, the “My Fresh Choice” section lets you change one of the bottom compartments to function as either a fridge or a freezer as needed.
Meanwhile, the “Cool Fresh Box” is a compartment that sustains a stable temperature separate from the rest of the fridge. It’s designed for perishable goods, like meat and vegetables, to keep them fresher for longer.
Hisense’s water-dispensing models also provide ice cubes, which could come in handy during the warmer months. Both the water and ice get the UV treatment, tackling bacteria without the need for disposable filters.
Like many of the brand’s appliances, including the UNAU range of TVs, Hisense’s PureFlex fridges support the ConnectLife app. This lets you control temperature settings remotely and keep an inventory of your fridge’s contents.
Arriving in Australia next month, here’s how much the PureFlex fridges cost:
- Stainless Steel PureFlex 640L (HRCD640TSW): $2,499
- Dark Stainless Steel PureFlex 640L (HRCD640TBW): $2,499
- Dark Stainless Steel PureFlex 647L (HRCD640TB): $2,099
While they might not be as boldly designed (nor supremely pricey) as fridges like the LG MoodUp, Hisense’s new appliances certainly look the part.
