HP was one of many computer vendors that revealed its new range of gaming, business and personal laptop and desktop computers at CES 2025. Not to be left out of the trend, the company leaned hard into the current AI fad.
HP sees AI-powered experiences as the future of work, and the HP EliteBook Ultra G1i is designed to support HP’s vision. It comes in a pretty atmospheric blue colour, is ultra-thin at 14.22mm and features the Snapdragon X Elite compute platform with an NPU to optimise AI efficiency.
For the opposite of work, there’s HP’s Omen gaming range, which uses AI to “optimise” performance with the touch of one button. The HP Omen 16 Laptop is a beast of a machine, with an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU (with 16GB of dedicated RAM), 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD and fancy self-cleaning fans.
Plus there were AI desktops, monitors that can display AI, and some other laptops.
Pricing and availability for Australia are yet to be announced, so keep an eye on HP’s website.
