Of all the electric cars I’d like to drive one day, a Polestar is right up there. But at more than $180,000 for the latest model, I know that’s not happening anytime soon. In better news for me, the Polestar 5 is coming to PlayStation’s realistic driving sim, Gran Turismo 7, in a free update.
Due to arrive in a December 2025 update, the digital version of the Polestar 5 is said to closely replicate the feeling of driving the EV in real life.
“I have long been impressed by Polestar cars for their advanced, clean, and elegant designs, and so I am delighted to collaborate with them to bring the Polestar 5 to Gran Turismo,” said Kazunori Yamauchi, Gran Turismo Series Producer.
Polestar’s electric vehicle joins other EVs in Gran Turismo, including the Tesla Model 3, Porsche Mission X, and the BMW i3. That’s the neat thing about racing sims: you can race cars you might never be able to afford.
